Creamy Mexican-style cinnamon vanilla drink, perfect any time of day.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3.5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, simmer milk and cinnamon stick until boiling, stirring constantly. Mix in sugar and stir for 2 minutes. Then add vanilla extract and continue stirring for another 2 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together water and cornstarch until smooth. Gradually pour the mixture into boiling milk, stirring constantly until it thickens, for about 8 minutes.
