Decadent vegan brownies made with rich cocoa powder and simple pantry staples for a fudgy, gooey delight.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 0.75 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with baking spray, then line the bottom with parchment paper.
  • Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl, whisking until blended.
  • Pour water (or coffee), vegetable oil, and vanilla into the mixture; stir until thoroughly combined. Spread batter evenly in the prepared dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top loses its shine and the center feels firm when gently pressed. Allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting it into 15 squares.
