Indulgent raw vegan chocolate doughnuts - a guilt-free sweet treat! Densely rich and satisfying.
Ingredients:
  • 130g skinless hazelnuts, toasted
  • 340g pitted medjool dates, chopped
  • 50g (1/2 cup) raw cacao powder
  • 16.80 gm coconut oil
  • 2 tsp maca powder
  • 60g dark chocolate, melted
  • 20g freeze dried strawberries, crushed
  • Chopped hazelnuts, to sprinkle
Instructions:
  • Prepare the doughnut pan by lightly greasing four (9cm-wide) holes. Grind hazelnuts until coarsely ground, then add dates, cacao, coconut oil, and maca. Process until evenly mixed. Spoon the mixture into the holes, pressing down firmly. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
  • Warm the base of the doughnut pan using either a blowtorch or a hot towel, then turn the doughnuts out onto a clean surface.
  • Drizzle the doughnuts with luscious chocolate, then sprinkle with crushed freeze-dried strawberries and chopped hazelnuts for a delightful finish.
