Delightful vegan waffles made with oats, soy milk, and agave nectar for a morning treat enjoyed by all!
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons flax seed meal
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1.75 cups soy milk
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
Instructions:
  • Preheat waffle iron as directed by the manufacturer.
  • Combine water and flax seed meal in a bowl and mix well.
  • Turn oats into a fine flour by blending in a blender. Combine with flax seed mixture, soy milk, all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, canola oil, baking powder, vanilla extract, agave nectar, and salt in the blender; blend until batter is just combined.
  • Pour 1/2 cup of batter onto the hot waffle iron. Cook until golden and crisp, following the manufacturer's instructions, approximately 5 minutes.
