Delicious and simple to make parcels that are a hit!
Ingredients:
  • 4.60 gm vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 375.00 ml finely shredded wombok (Chinese cabbage)
  • 1 small carrot, peeled, grated
  • 50g shiitake mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1/2 x 225g can bamboo shoots, chopped
  • 21.00 gm soy sauce
  • 30 (275g packet) gow gee wrappers
Instructions:
  • 1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, wombok, carrot, and mushroom. Sauté for 5 to 6 minutes until cabbage wilts. Remove from heat and mix in bamboo shoots and soy sauce. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Lay out the wrappers on a flat surface. Add 2 teaspoons of the cabbage mixture onto one side of each wrapper. Moisten the edges with cold water, fold over to enclose the filling, and press the edges together firmly to seal. Transfer the sealed dumplings onto a tray lined with baking paper.
  • Steam dumplings in batches for 15 minutes or until tender and fully cooked. Serve hot.
