Delicious vegetarian pan pizza for a healthier family lifestyle.
Ingredients:
  • 665.00 ml bread and pizza plain flour
  • 250.00 gm warm water
  • 7g sachet dried yeast
  • Pinch sugar
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 40.00 ml pizza sauce
  • 125.00 ml grated light pizza cheese
  • 1/2 large green capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 60g button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 82.50 ml drained canned pineapple pieces in natural juice
  • 240g cherry truss tomatoes, truss removed
Instructions:
  • Combine flour and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Create a well in the center. Dissolve yeast and sugar in water in a small bowl. Pour the mixture into the well. Mix with a wooden spoon until dough forms. Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Grease a large bowl with oil, place dough inside, cover with oiled wrap, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 220C/200C fan-forced. Lightly grease a 30cm (base) pizza tray using oil. Use your fist to punch down the center of the dough, then press it out over the tray.
  • Evenly coat the dough with pizza sauce. Sprinkle half the cheese on top. Layer with capsicum, mushroom, pineapple, and the remaining cheese. Arrange tomatoes on the pizza. Bake for 25 minutes until the crust is golden and tomatoes are softened. Serve hot.
