Bake 24 tasty pecan pie-inspired cookies, customizable with pecans or walnuts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and place paper liners in mini muffin pans.
  • Combine the cream cheese, 1/2 cup of butter, and flour in a bowl until a dough forms. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and press into the bottom and up the sides of the muffin cups.
  • Combine egg, butter, vanilla, and brown sugar in a small bowl until smooth. Mix in walnuts. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full with the mixture.
  • Place in the oven and bake until the crusts are beautifully golden, this will take around 15 to 20 minutes.
