Walnut-filled cookie cups - perfect holiday treat!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound sweet butter
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream together sweet butter and cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Gradually mix in the flour to form a dough. Roll into 1-inch balls and press into 3/4-inch muffin cups to shape the bottom and sides.
  • Combine brown sugar, walnuts, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Fill each dough cup with about 1 teaspoon of walnut filling.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until the edges of the cookies are lightly browned and the filling is cooked through.
