Upgrade your pie game with a delicious walnut crust. Simply mix ground walnuts with butter and sugar, press into a pie plate, and bake. Ideal for no-bake pies like custard or ice cream, this crust also freezes well.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups ground walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl, then press the nut mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) until edges are golden brown, about 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
