Festive holiday bars with white chocolate, walnuts, and cranberries - a perfect Christmas treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white vanilla baking chips (6 oz)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9-inch pan with foil, leaving overhang on two opposite sides; then, generously coat the foil with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, continue mixing. Slowly incorporate flour, baking powder, and salt on low speed until fully combined. Fold in baking chips, walnuts, and cranberries. Transfer mixture to a pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack. Use foil to lift the bars from the pan, then cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.
