Festive sugar cookie bars filled with cranberries and white chocolate chips, topped with cream cheese frosting and extra cranberries. Ideal for holiday indulgence!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped dried cranberries
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup coarsely chopped dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously grease a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine cookie mix, 1/2 cup softened butter, 4 oz cream cheese, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Mix in 1/4 cup cranberries and white chips. Spread dough in a pan and bake for 20 to 23 minutes until golden brown. Cool on a rack for about 1 hour before enjoying.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend 8 oz cream cheese and 1/4 cup softened butter until smooth. Add vanilla and mix. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until frosting is creamy. Spread frosting over the bars, top with 1/3 cup cranberries, and then cut into 6x4 rows. Refrigerate covered.
