Indulgent white chocolate panna cotta with strawberry topping, perfect for hosting a fancy dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 6 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon boiling water
  • 1.5 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 4 ounces fresh strawberries, quartered
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt white chocolate with heavy cream, 1 tablespoon sugar, and vanilla bean paste until smooth, stirring occasionally for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Pour piping hot water into a small bowl. Sprinkle gelatin powder over the water and whisk until fully dissolved. Gently fold the gelatin mixture into the white chocolate mixture until it is silky smooth.
  • Divide the white chocolate mixture evenly among six 1/2-cup ramekins. Seal with plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, approximately 4 hours.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, let strawberries, orange juice, and 2 teaspoons white sugar get cozy until they boil. Lower the heat and let them simmer covered until the strawberries soften and it becomes syrupy, which should take about 2 to 3 minutes. Off the heat, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • Serve each ramekin topped with a generous spoonful of stewed strawberries.
