Indulge in festive chocolate cookies for a sweet holiday treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups plus 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips (18 oz)
  • 1 bag (7 oz) white chocolate-covered mini-pretzel twists, coarsely crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Then, add eggs and vanilla, and beat until well blended.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, beating until just blended. Then, fold in the chocolate chips and pretzels. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto cookie sheets, spacing them 1 to 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks right away.
