Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup cold unsalted butter
  • 0.75 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon coarse granulated sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Blend in butter until mixture is crumbly. Add white chocolate chips and cranberries. Gently incorporate buttermilk and egg until dough just comes together.
  • Gently roll out the dough and cut it into 12 triangles. Arrange the triangles on the baking tray. Brush each scone with a touch of cream and dust with coarse sugar for added sweetness and crunch.
  • Bake in the oven until the edges are barely golden, approximately 15 minutes.
