Delicious whole wheat waffles with coconut oil, perfect for a quick and tasty breakfast!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups whole wheat pastry flour
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups milk, room temperature
  • 0.33333334326744 cup virgin coconut oil, melted
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the waffle iron following the manufacturer's guidance.
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and create a well in the center of the mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, coconut oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour this mixture into the flour well and gently stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the hot waffle iron and cook until golden and crisp, for 2 to 5 minutes.
