Traditional Italian Wine Cookies - Crisp, lightly sweet, perfect with coffee or tea. Easy family recipe passed down for generations.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.33333298563957 cup granulated sugar for decoration
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and sugar in a large bowl. Pour in the wine and oil, then mix first with a fork and then with your hands until well combined.
  • Shape small pieces of dough into logs and form into circles no larger than 2 inches in diameter. Coat cookies in extra sugar and place on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cookies cool until they are beautifully crisp and delightful.
