Spice up your party with Tex-Mex chicken wings using Old El Paso™ seasoning and a zesty green hot sauce-ranch dip. Game day perfection!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon green hot sauce
  • 1/3 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 packets (.85 oz) Old El Paso™ Chicken Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 3 lb chicken wingettes and drummettes, patted dry
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a 18x12-inch rimmed sheet pan with foil and place a rack on top. Generously spray the rack and foil with cooking spray. Mix ranch dressing and hot sauce in a small bowl, cover, and refrigerate.
  • In a large gallon-sized resealable bag, combine flour and taco seasoning mixes. Add chicken to the bag, seal it, and shake well to coat the chicken evenly. Place the coated chicken in a single layer on a rack. Discard any excess flour mixture. Brush both sides of the chicken with melted butter for extra flavor.
  • Roast the chicken for 25 minutes, then turn it over. Continue roasting for an additional 18 to 22 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F. Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with cilantro, and serve with dressing.
