Quick and delicious gourmet won tons ready in 20 minutes! Best served fresh after cooking; perfect for impressing friends. Pro tip: Fry them just before serving for ultimate crispiness. Find wasabi at most grocery and Asian stores.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup sweet hot mustard
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon wasabi
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups imitation crabmeat
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) package small won ton wrappers
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Mix mustard, soy sauce, and wasabi in a small bowl until the wasabi dissolves. Chill in the fridge.
  • In a chilled metal bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, onion, water chestnuts, and parsley. Spoon the mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, pinching the edges closed. If needed, lightly wet your fingertips with water to seal the edges securely.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil until hot. Fry won tons (about 6 at a time) until golden brown. Drain on paper towel-lined tray. Repeat with remaining won tons. Serve with dipping sauce.
