Crisp and flavorful eggless chocolate chip cookies – simple and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup margarine or butter
  • 0.25 cup shortening
  • 0.5 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease the cookie sheets.
  • In a medium bowl, whip up a delightful mixture of brown sugar, white sugar, margarine, and shortening until light and fluffy. Add yogurt and vanilla. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined, then fold in chocolate chips. Spoon the dough onto cookie sheets, keeping them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven until edges turn golden brown. Then, let cool on the cookie sheets for a minute before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
