Effortless one-pan meal perfect for busy families on a budget, minimal cleanup. A new staple in your kitchen rotation.
Ingredients:
  • 1 brown onion, halved, thinly sliced
  • 500g 4-Star Lean Beef Mince
  • 500g jar Mum’s Sauce Bolognese
  • 2 x 250g pkts White Long Grain Microwave Rice
  • 80g (1 cup) Pizza Blend Shredded Cheese
Instructions:
  • - Heat oil in a large ovenproof frying pan until sizzling. - Cook onion for 3-4 minutes until softened, stirring occasionally. - Brown beef for 5 minutes, breaking up lumps with a spoon. - Season, pour bolognese sauce and 1/3 cup water, then simmer.
  • Fluff the rice packets to loosen the grains. Mix the rice into the beef, breaking up any large lumps with a wooden spoon. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the rice is warmed through. Flatten the mixture and remove from heat.
  • Preheat the grill on high. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the beef mixture. Grill for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling. Serve immediately. Enjoy this flavorful dish!
