Five-ingredient Asian-inspired satay beef skewers with vibrant salad.
Ingredients:
  • 600g beef rump steak, cut into 2.5cm cubes
  • 250ml bottle satay sauce
  • 18.40 gm vegetable oil
  • 450g packet 2 1/2 minute microwave jasmine rice
  • 350g bag Asian-style salad with soy sesame dressing and crunchy noodles
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, generously coat the beef with 1/3 cup of flavorful satay sauce. Skewer the beef onto 8 skewers.
  • In a large frying pan over high heat, sear skewers for 6 to 7 minutes until golden brown and cooked as desired.
  • While the rice is cooking according to the package instructions, heat the remaining sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally and heat for 3 to 5 minutes until warmed through.
  • Combine all remaining salad ingredients, dressing, and noodles in a large bowl and toss together until evenly coated. Divide the salad and rice among serving plates, place skewers on top, drizzle with sauce, and serve.
