Make impressive air fryer breakfast toad-in-the-hole tarts for an easy and delicious crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons diced cooked ham
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
Instructions:
  • Heat up the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lay out the pastry sheet and slice it into 4 squares.
  • Air-fry 2 pastry squares for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Take the basket out of the air fryer. Using a metal spoon, gently press each square to create an indentation. Fill each hole with 1 tablespoon of Cheddar cheese and 1 tablespoon of ham, then pour 1 egg on top of each.
  • Place the basket back into the air fryer and cook for approximately 6 minutes until done to your liking. Once ready, take the tarts out of the basket and allow them to cool for 5 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining pastry squares, cheese, ham, and eggs.
  • Top the tarts with fresh chives for a burst of flavor and vibrant color.
