Air fryer cheesy chicken sausage rolls recipe

Cheesy chicken sausage rolls: delicious party finger food.
Ingredients:
  • 500g chicken mince
  • 125g can corn kernels, drained, roughly chopped
  • 1 medium zucchini, grated
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 165.00 ml grated cheddar cheese
  • 82.50 ml panko breadcrumbs
  • 30.00 ml Vegemite Squeezy
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed, halved
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • Sesame seeds, to sprinkle
  • Sweet chilli sauce, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine chicken mince, corn kernels, zucchini, carrot, cheddar cheese, panko breadcrumbs, Vegemite Squeezy, green onion, and garlic in a bowl. Season with pepper and mix thoroughly.
  • Lay down 1 pastry half. Spread 1/3 cup mince mixture along one side of the pastry. Brush edges with egg wash. Roll up from the long side to create a log shape. Trim the ends and cut into 4 pieces. Repeat the process with the rest of the pastry, mince mixture, and egg wash.
  • Gently coat the roll tops with beaten egg and generously sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place baking paper in the air fryer, leaving a 1cm border for proper airflow. Cook in batches at 200C for 13-15 minutes until beautifully golden and fully cooked. Let them rest for 5 minutes before enjoying with a side of sweet chilli sauce.
