Air fryer crackling chips with bacon salt recipe

Indulge in irresistible, homemade pork crackling chips made in the air fryer, paired with tangy apple sauce. Prepare ahead by chilling overnight for the ultimate salty, bacon-filled snack.
Ingredients:
  • 750g piece pork rind (crackling)
  • 2 tsp Deliciou Original Bacon Flavoured Seasoning, plus extra, to serve
  • Apple sauce, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Slice the rind into 1.5cm-wide strips, then lay them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate the tray overnight to allow the rind to dry out.
  • Lightly coat the rind with oil and generously sprinkle with the bacon seasoning.
  • Place half of the rind in the air fryer basket, spray it with oil, and cook at 200C for 10-15 minutes until bubbled and golden. Transfer to a bowl, sprinkle with extra bacon seasoning. Repeat the process with the remaining rind. Serve with apple sauce, if desired.
