Air fryer French onion potato pom poms recipe

Elevate your potatoes with crispy air fryer spud pom poms using just 3 ingredients. Simple to make, with a perfect crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Serve with tangy sour cream, sweet chili, and fresh chives for a stunning dish.
Ingredients:
  • 4 medium coliban potatoes
  • 40g packet French onion soup mix
  • Sour cream, sweet chilli sauce and chopped chives, to serve (optional, see note)
Instructions:
  • Trim 1cm from both ends of each potato. Place chopsticks on each side of the potato and carefully make 2mm cuts along the potato, using a small, sharp knife. Rotate the potato 90 degrees and make additional 2mm cuts. Repeat with the remaining potato (refer to note).
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour and soup mix. Add 1 potato and coat in the mixture. Repeat with the rest of the potatoes.
  • Place the ingredients in the air fryer basket and give them a light olive oil spray. Air fry at 180C for 15-18 minutes until crispy and soft. Enjoy with optional toppings like sour cream, sweet chili, and chives.
