Easy and flavorful air fryer halloumi fries with a tasty taco seasoning, served with a delicious dipping sauce or salsa. Perfect for a quick and satisfying snack.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
Instructions:
  • In a small bowl, blend together sour cream, cilantro, lime juice, lime zest, and Sriracha until fully combined. Chill in the refrigerator until needed.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (199 degrees C) and grease the basket with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
  • Cut the halloumi into uniform fry-shaped sticks about 1/2-inch thick, similar in size to steak fries, and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Combine flour, taco seasoning, and chili powder in a bowl. Add halloumi and toss until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the fries evenly in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not crowded or overlapped. Give them a quick spritz of cooking spray, then air fry for 5 to 6 minutes, adjusting as needed based on your air fryer's specifications. For larger quantities, consider cooking in batches.
  • Enjoy this dish hot and fresh with a side of dipping sauce.
