Korean-style crispy chicken wings with sweet and spicy flavors reminiscent of bulgogi.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your air fryer to a perfect 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large saucepan, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, sesame oil, ginger paste, garlic paste, and green onions. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, coat chicken wings evenly with vegetable oil by massaging them. Transfer wings to the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Coat wings in the sauce mixture, ensuring they are well-covered. Air fry for 2 minutes, then coat the wings in sauce again. Return to the air fryer for another 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
