Quickly make delicious single serving salt and vinegar French fries using an air fryer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large Yukon Gold potato
  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 0.5 tablespoon light vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Peel and cut potato into 1/2-inch sticks. Rinse under cold water, then soak in a bowl with vinegar and enough water to cover for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for optimal cooking temperature.
  • Remove excess moisture from the potatoes by draining and gently patting them dry. Coat them evenly with oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl before transferring them to the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the fries in the preheated air fryer until soft but not browned, approximately 16 minutes. Shake the basket, increase the temperature to 355 degrees F (180 degrees C), and air fry for an additional 6 minutes. Shake again, check for doneness, and continue cooking until the fries are crispy and browned on the outside, around 6 more minutes. Season with salt to taste before serving.
