Make crispy air fryer salt and vinegar potato chips with just 3 ingredients and paper towels - simple and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1 pound red potatoes, thinly sliced on a mandoline
  • sea salt to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large soup pot, bring vinegar to a boil. Add potatoes and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 30 minutes.
  • Place a layer of paper towels on a baking sheet. Drain potatoes without rinsing them. Arrange potato slices on the baking sheet in a single layer without overlapping. Top the potatoes with another layer of paper towels. Repeat layering process until all potatoes are dried.
  • Preheat your air fryer oven to 400°F (200°C) as per the manufacturer's instructions. Position the basket rack in the top slot to prevent the chips from moving around when frying.
  • Spread out the potato slices on the remaining 3 racks and gently season with salt. Place the racks in the air fryer oven and air fry for 10 minutes. Take out the top rack of chips and move them onto a plate. Set a timer for an additional 2 minutes for the next highest rack of chips. After that, set the timer for 1 minute for the final rack of chips. Serve promptly.
