5-ingredient, cream cheese and smoked salmon wonton appetizers - simply divine!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (6 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 ounces cold-smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • 1.5 tablespoons minced capers
  • 1.5 tablespoons finely minced red onion
  • 48 wonton wrappers
  • water as needed
  • cooking spray
Instructions:
  • In a mixing bowl, blend together cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, and red onion. Prepare a separate small bowl filled with water.
  • Lay out 6 wonton wrappers on a clean work surface. Add 1 teaspoon of salmon mixture to the center of each wrapper, making sure not to overfill to prevent any spillover.
  • Moisten the 4 edges of each wonton wrapper by lightly dipping your finger in the bowl of water. Fold each wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, sealing the edges. Press out excess air to prevent bursting. Dampen the bottom of the triangle and fold the right side over the middle, followed by the left side, pressing all edges to seal securely. Cover the prepared wontons with a damp paper towel while making the rest.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 330°F (166°C), then thoroughly spray both sides of the wontons with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the wontons in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they have space between them.
  • Air-fry the wontons for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through. Transfer to a cooling rack and let them cool while you air-fry the rest in batches. Enjoy best when served slightly warm or at room temperature.
