Create crispy chicken strips using an air fryer and cooking spray for perfect results.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds chicken tenderloins
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning (such as Goya®), or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Mexican seasoning mix (such as Goya® Sazonador Total)

Instructions:
  • Debone the chicken tenderloins and marinate in buttermilk for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C as per the manufacturer's directions.
  • In a bowl, blend panko, flour, adobo seasoning, and Mexican seasoning until combined. Drain buttermilk from tenderloins, then coat them evenly in the seasoned panko mixture.
  • 1. Grease air fryer basket with cooking spray. Add tenderloins to the basket and spray again. Air fry for 8 minutes. Flip, spray, and air fry for another 8 minutes. Give the basket a shake, spray tenderloins one last time, and air fry for 4 more minutes.
