Sesame-crusted air-fried cod fillets served with sugar snap peas and orange wedges for a fresh and simple dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (5 ounce) cod fillets
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • vegetable oil
  • 2 (6 ounce) packages sugar snap peas
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium orange, cut into wedges
Instructions:
  • Coat the air fryer basket with vegetable oil and preheat to 400°F (200°C).
  • Thaw the fish if frozen, pat it dry with paper towels, and season it lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Combine butter and sesame seeds in a small bowl. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture for the fish. Coat peas and garlic with the rest of the butter mixture and transfer to the air fryer basket.
  • In batches, air fry peas in the preheated air fryer until just tender, tossing once, about 10 minutes. Set aside and keep warm while cooking fish.
  • Brush the fish with half of the flavorful butter mixture, then arrange the fillets in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 4 minutes, then flip the fish over. Brush the fillets with the remaining butter mixture and continue to air fry for 5 to 6 minutes until the fish is flaky. Serve with snap peas and orange wedges.
