Irresistible ground beef and noodle casserole that always disappears fast.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 0.75 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 0.25 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed, diced tomatoes
  • 1 (12 ounce) package uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) while cooking noodles in a pot of salted boiling water until just tender, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, onion, celery, and garlic until the meat is cooked through. Remove any excess grease.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer half of the cooked noodles at the bottom of the dish, followed by half of the meat mixture and half of the tomatoes. Pour half of the cream of chicken soup over the tomatoes and sprinkle half of the shredded cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  • Place your dish in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Allow it to stand for 10 minutes to set before enjoying your meal.
