Quick and simple autumn apple pie: layer canned apples, whisk remaining ingredients, and bake. Easy as pie!
Ingredients:
  • 75g (1/2 cup) plain flour
  • 215g (1 cup) caster sugar
  • 85g (1 cup) desiccated coconut
  • 4 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 500ml (2 cups) milk
  • 385g can pie fruit apple slices
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan-forced and grease a 5cm deep, 24cm round pie dish.
  • Whisk together flour, sugar, coconut, eggs, vanilla, and butter in a large bowl. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly until well combined.
  • Arrange the apple slices evenly on the bottom of the dish and then gently pour the egg mixture over them.
