Delicious apple bread, great for breakfast or a snack. Tried and loved!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan.
  • Combine the butter and sugar in a bowl until creamy, then incorporate the eggs.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and cloves in one bowl. Add to the butter mixture and mix until moistened. Gently fold in the apples and transfer the batter to the loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
