Grandma's classic apple cake, updated with a delightful blend of cinnamon in a scrumptious Bundt form.
Ingredients:
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 2.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups apple - peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup HERSHEY®'S Cinnamon Chips
  • confectioners' sugar for dusting
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while preparing a 10 inch Bundt pan by greasing and flouring it. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt, and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix sugar, eggs, oil, orange juice, and vanilla using an electric mixer until blended. Add flour mixture and fold in chopped walnuts. Pour 1/3 of the batter into the pan. Combine chopped apples and cinnamon chips, then sprinkle half of the mixture over the batter. Repeat layers, ending with the batter.
  • - Preheat oven and bake for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. - Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. - Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.
