An irresistible taffy cake made with apples, graham crackers, cinnamon, and cherished family recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.75 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2.5 cups diced apples
  • 0.75 cup packed brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, eggs, graham cracker crumbs, butter, and cinnamon. Use an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until the batter is smooth. Gently fold in the apples, then pour the mixture into a baking pan and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Bake in the oven until the cake naturally pulls away from the sides of the pan, typically around 40 to 45 minutes.
