A scrumptious apple walnut cake with cinnamon and nutmeg spices.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound butter
  • 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups sliced Macintosh apples
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then generously butter and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
  • Combine the butter and sugar until creamy. Gradually mix in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is well incorporated before moving on. Set mixture aside.
  • Combine the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg through a sifter. Then, mix them into the wet ingredients until well combined.
  • Mix in aromatic vanilla extract, crunchy walnuts, and sweet apples until well combined. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool. Run a knife along the edges and bottom of the tube pan to release the cake.
