Cheesy apple melt – quick and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices French or Italian bread, each 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons applesauce
  • 1 medium apple, cored and cut into rings
  • 2 ounces fat-free Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 2 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
Instructions:
  • Preheat the broiler. Place bread on an ungreased baking sheet and toast until golden brown. Spread applesauce on the bread slices, then add apple rings and cheeses on top. Broil until the cheese starts to melt.
