Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package moist yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup apricot nectar
  • 0.25 cup apricot brandy
  • 3 tablespoons apricot nectar
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9 or 10 inch Bundt pan by greasing and flouring it.
  • Combine cake mix, eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, oil, apricot nectar, and brandy in a large bowl. Use an electric mixer on low speed for 3 minutes, then switch to high speed for another 3 minutes. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan, then flip onto a serving plate.
  • In a saucepan, mix apricot nectar, sugar, and butter over medium heat until the butter melts and sugar dissolves. Cool for a minute before pouring over the cake.
