Crispy Asian chicken strips with tangy sweet-sour sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup Progresso™ panko crispy bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sweet-and-sour sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
Instructions:
  • Slice each chicken breast into eight 1/2-inch-thick pieces. Combine soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic powder in a bowl. Add chicken and gently mix until coated. Marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a 15x10x1-inch pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. Coat chicken pieces in bread crumbs and place in a single layer on the pan after draining off excess soy sauce.
  • Bake for 5 minutes until golden brown and crisp, then turn chicken and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Combine sweet-and-sour sauce with lemon peel in a small bowl. Serve the chicken with the flavorful dipping sauce.
