Easy Asian pork chops with versatile marinade for any meat. Dinner ready in a snap.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon roasted red chili paste
  • 6 (1-inch thick) pork chops
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cumin, and red chili paste in a large resealable plastic bag. Gently massage the bag to blend the ingredients and dissolve the brown sugar evenly.
  • Coat pork chops in the marinade and refrigerate in a sealed bag for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by heating it to medium heat and lightly oiling the grate.
  • Take out pork chops from the marinade and dispose of the marinade. Shake off any extra marinade and grill pork chops until they are golden brown and cooked through, around 5 to 7 minutes on each side. The chops should have nice grill marks and a meat thermometer should register at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) when inserted into the thickest part of a chop.
