Marinate pork chops in teriyaki, orange juice, sherry, ginger, and garlic for a flavorful kick before baking. Prep in the morning for a delicious evening meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup dry sherry
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 dash ground allspice
  • 6 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
Instructions:
  • Prepare the marinade by combining teriyaki sauce, orange juice, sherry, ginger, garlic, pepper, and allspice in a bowl. Add the pork chops, cover the bowl, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 6 hours, remembering to turn the pork chops occasionally.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Take out the marinated chops from the refrigerator. Uncover and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the meat's internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
