Elevate green beans and mushrooms with savory Asian flair using soy sauce and sesame oil for a perfect side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 3 cups chopped fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
  • salt and ground pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, saute mushrooms in olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Add green beans and cook until they turn bright green, around 3 minutes. Drain off any excess water, if necessary.
  • Combine vinegar, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, hot sauce, salt, and pepper with mushrooms and beans; cook until mushrooms are tender and beans are thoroughly coated, for approximately 3 minutes. Enjoy your flavorful dish!
