Quick and delicious bacon mushroom pasta.
Ingredients:
  • 375g dried pappardelle or fettuccine
  • 4 short-cut bacon rashers, coarsely chopped
  • 50g butter
  • 500g mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 300ml ctn pouring cream
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh continental parsley
Instructions:
  • Boil the pasta in a saucepan of well-seasoned boiling water until perfectly cooked.
  • Cook the bacon in a frying pan over medium heat for 4 minutes until crispy. Remove to a plate.
  • Melt butter in a pan, then sauté mushrooms until tender. Add bacon and cream, simmer for 4 minutes, and finish by stirring in parsley.
  • Combine the pasta and sauce, ensuring every strand is well coated.
