Delicious bacon-infused sweet cornmeal biscuits. Yum!
Ingredients:
  • 8 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook bacon in a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring often, until crispy. Transfer bacon to paper towels to drain.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Bisquick mix, cornmeal, sugar, and bacon. Mix in milk until a soft dough forms. Using 8 spoonfuls, drop dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown, about 7 to 9 minutes.
  • Combine butter, marmalade, and honey in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Serve the warm biscuits with the orange-honey butter.
