Cowboy-inspired dish featuring burger, beans, and bacon on biscuits. A beloved family recipe, perfect for camping.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound bacon
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans baked beans with pork
  • 0.33300000429153 cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 (7.5 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions:
  • Begin by crisping the bacon in a spacious skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat until perfectly browned. Once done, drain the bacon and slice it into bite-sized pieces. Set aside. Next, introduce the hamburger and onion to the skillet and sauté until the meat is no longer pink and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  • Combine bacon, baked beans, and barbecue sauce with the ground beef and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and arrange biscuits in a single layer over the mixture. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes until the biscuits are cooked through. Serve by placing two biscuits on each plate and spoon the beans over the top. Enjoy!
