Elevate your brunch game with a savory omelet featuring juicy hamburger patty, crispy bacon crumbles, and melty American cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 2 leaves green lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon diced onion
  • 1 slice American cheese, cut in half
  • 0.25 pound cooked hamburger patty, cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 2 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon diced tomato
  • 1 tablespoon diced dill pickle
  • 1 tablespoon Thousand Island dressing
Instructions:
  • Arrange crisp, fresh lettuce leaves on a plate and keep to the side.
  • In a small skillet over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add onion and sauté until soft, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Top hamburger halves with slices of American cheese, then briefly microwave until the cheese is melted, about 20 seconds.
  • In a bowl, beat eggs and milk until slightly frothy. Pour into the skillet, cover, and cook for 5 minutes until eggs are just set. Arrange hamburger halves on one side and layer with onion, bacon, tomato, and pickle. Fold eggs in half to cover the fillings.
  • Lay the omelet on a bed of fresh lettuce leaves and drizzle with Thousand Island dressing.
