Baked Bourbon Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts

Decadent bourbon-glazed doughnuts made using devil's food cake mix, perfect for a quick and indulgent breakfast. Ready in just 1 hour!
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup from 1 box (15 oz) Betty Crocker™ Gluten Free Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon bourbon
  • 1/4 cup multicolored nonpareils
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly coat 2 doughnut pans with cooking spray.
  • Combine cake mix, Bisquick mix, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Add milk and eggs, then mix until fully combined. Fill each doughnut cup three-fourths full.
  • Bake the doughnuts for 8 to 10 minutes until they spring back when touched. Let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • In a small bowl, mix frosting and bourbon until smooth. Dip one side of each doughnut into the glaze and sprinkle with nonpareils for a delightful finish.
