Indulgent Baked Bourbon Doughnuts made with Betty Crocker™ cake mix, drizzled with a boozy bourbon glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup from 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix (from 15.25-oz box)
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 16-oz container)
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon bourbon
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F and lightly coat 2 doughnut pans with cooking spray.
  • Combine cake mix, Bisquick mix, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Add milk and eggs, stir until fully incorporated. Fill doughnut cups three-fourths of the way full with the batter.
  • Bake the doughnuts for 8 to 10 minutes until they spring back when touched. Let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the frosting and bourbon until smooth. Dip one side of each doughnut into the glaze, then sprinkle with chopped pecans for a delicious finish.
